TRADITIONAL MALAYALAM SYRIAN CHRISTIAN SONGS (HYMNS).
These are links to original tunes of the Syrian Malayalam hymns sung by our parents and forefather Christians of Kerala. With a lot of modernisation in even Christian Churches, having changed the tunes of many of these songs, it is earnestly hoped that the present generation of all members in this site value the rich tradition of heartfelt soulful songs with touching words by the writers. You can observe the tradition of the Pattamukkil Family was that despite living humbly, whoever came to our homes were always partakers of the food at the table, share in the evening prayer with songs and in most cases stayed and left only the next day refreshed.
The last link is the greatest regional Christian song in India (in Tamil) but sung by a real great female singer (a Malayalee named Swarnalatha). HOPE THAT EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF THIS SITE WILL SEE AND RETAIN THIS LINK PAGE AS A TREASURE OF TRADITIONAL SONGS.
